Harwigs offers a fine dining experience with a relaxed atmosphere right in the heart of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Our seasonal menus feature new gastro techniques and international flavors, but also highlight fresh, locally produced food. Harwigs is home to Steamboat’s only wine cellar, and our friendly sommeliers will help guide you through our award winning wine list. Whether you join us for our classic dining experience—now offered only on Friday nights as Harwigs Reserve—or you book a private dining room for a more intimate experience, we warmly welcome you to share your next dining experience with us.   • As of 2025 Harwigs is open on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.
  • Swing by for Happy Hour from 5pm to 6:30. Dinner will be served from 5pm to 10pm.
  • Join us on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings for Harwigs Reserve—our classic dining experience with the best wine list, martinis, and gourmet tasting menu in Steamboat Springs.
  • Reservations are recommended since this will be an exclusive and limited experience.
  • Harwigs Reserve features an ever-changing fixed price 4 course menu, and a full bar. Wine pairings are also available.
  • For an even more personalized dining experience look into our Private Dining and Private Chef options, both available with custom menus.

    You really can't beat Harwigs, in any aspect of dining I can think of. For one, the chef has an amazing talent to blend traditional French with local flavors, and you can always count on something new and exciting based on the season. But that doesn't take away from the staples that are always on the menu. Fresh oysters, the best French onion soup, and a duck or steak entree that always gets me coming back. The staff is always a blast and willing to share a story, and the wine is obviously top notch, like a HUGE list. I love how you can choose the ambiance you are looking for. In the bar area, you have an updated timeless style but casually chatting with the bartenders and staff seems to be encouraged. And the dining room gives you a more prestigious feel for a fine dining experience. Couple hints, you can't beat the best Martini deal in town at Harwigs. And if you're looking for a one of kind personal experience, ask about their private dining options. Extremely worth it. Thank you Harwigs staff!
